Not that Martinez won't end up at WR, but I think Carnes would have got him there quicker probably. Martinez can be an impact player at WR, expect bad things if he plays QB, very bad things IMO.

What annoyed me was that if he'd been more stand-up and/or evaluated the situation better the staff wouldn't have thought the qb-slot was filled and told Fajardo to stay home. Ya Fajardo got re-offered but the damage had been done.

FWIW, there is some action going on over on the Rivals free board. Something about how Carnes is wavering back to Nebraska from a WKU fan. Probably just a troll, but fyi...

Even if Brion wanted to come back, he would need to be the slickest talker on earth to convince Bo to take him back.

 
Wonder what would happen if in the moment he says N and then finds out we no longer have a scholarship for him because we are holding it for Simek or something. I assume he'd tell them tonight if that were the case but... crazy sh#t happens.

 
Maybe Tommie talked some since into him. Maybe us going back and offering Fajardo convinced him that we were still taking a QB, regardless of what Turner did (love the guy as a player, hated the timing). Either way if Carnes wants back in, I'm willing to give him another shot.
