Not surprising, but still too bad, he was my favorite out of all of them. Sig's a jerk, but he's my favorite now because he doesn't play around.

Man, that's awful. The show won't be the same without him.

The Hillstrands on the Time Bandit are my favorite though. They always crack me up. Especially when they hooked up an old wrecked truck to one of the Cornelia Marie's pots. That was awesome.

Love that show. Rest in peace Phil. You made me laugh and were a hell of a Captain. Sig is kind of arrogant but the man brings in the $$$ and the Northwestern looks like a hell of a ship.

Anyways...absolute hell of a way to make a living. Phil will be missed.

Phil will be missed. I also feel bad for his two boys.

Even though their family looks dysfunctional most of the time, you could see they really cared about their old man, and him about them.

Couldn't agree more. I love Captain Phil simply because he worked extremely hard at what he did, but he also gave us a taste of just what great guys they are by having two of his sons on board with him. I feel especially sorry for his sons.
