Cody Green throwing motion

None of his throwing motion looks weird to me. They probably told him to kick his heel up high on his push-off leg to keep him from ever developing a problem of throwing off his back foot. Josh Freeman does the same thing IIRC and I think he plays for the Bucs now. :wasted

I don't know if anybody else noticed this, but after he has the thrown the ball he does a little arm fling towards his face. Check out the Friday practice video from Omaha.com (in the Kinnie article) and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I didn't read all the posts so sorry if someone mentioned this.

Oops, Spano is a #7.

He was present in another practice video though. I really doubt he's not getting a look.

Doesn't all this talk about the throwing motions of Nebraska QBs make you wonder who had the nicest throwing motion all-time as a Husker? Well, doesn't matter b/c it got me thinking about it, and that's all I needed.

IMO Turner Gill had the sweetest throwing motion among NU QBs. A close 2nd was Bobby Newcombe - it's too bad he didn't get to use that weapon more than he did.
Of all the Huskers I would say Vince Ferragamo hands down.

This may sound strange, but on the hail mary play, Farragamo throws to a receiver named Preston Dennard. I wonder if he is any relation to Alfonzo? A quick google search shows that they are both from Georgia.....?

I was down at the Cotton Bowl in 1980 and went to the Cowboys/Rams game a couple days before. Gene Huey was my sister's boyfriend's position coach and he introduced me to Preston Dennard in the hotel lobby. He knew him from New Mexico. dedhoarse
