Video: Bo discusses spring game details

I wonder why Yoshi has been practicing this spring but will not play in the spring game.....

Also, there was some speculaiton about Spano's quad contusion keeping him out of the spring game, are we to assume that he is going to play, albeit with a green jersey?

I would just speculate that they're worried that in a game situation someone might forget for a second and hit him wrong, or he'd forget and hit someone wrong, and make it worse like Husker_x said.

His injury is going to require surgery. I would guess it's about not turning a fairly serious injury into a terribly serious one.

I knew it was going to require surgery, but if he continues to practice through the injury, I'm wondering why they are holding him back from the game.

Cotton said a few days ago that Yoshi was done for the spring. Speculation is that he already had the surgery and is on the road to rehab for summer and fall camp. That was the explanation for the larger cast on his arm.

Sounds like Kody will be the only one wearing a green jersey and that's mostly because he has been injured before and they probably want to play it safe with him. It sounds as if the Spring game will be much like it was last year, no schemes just basics and fundamentals.

Pretty cool that a lot potential recruits are going to be here for the Spring game, 13 highly sought after recruits, a handful of walk-on potential from the state, and a few players from the 2010 class.
