There's no need for me to go buy a multi-million dollar mansion. I mean, my house would be tricked out (hardwoods installed, surround sound, projector), but I wouldn't blow it. I also wouldn't quit my job.

The part about this that ticks me off is he spent $5.00 to buy the ticket. That is $40.00 a month, so how much is this guys electric bill? Gas? I bet he had cable. If you were so worried about paying your bills maybe you shouldn't be buying power ball tickets. Granted it has panned out for this guy, but how many tickets were sold for that draw, a few million, possibly more. How many of those tickets were sold to people who dont know how they are going to pay the bills this month? It is missed placed priorities. I am glad for this guy, the odds are stacked against him, but I really hope he is smart enough to lock some money away for his kids future. correct, but you don't have to become suddenly rich to squander away your money either, like the majority of Americans that have $10k+ in credit card debt, and live well beyond their means. All i am saying is whether he pisses it away or not, at least his kids get a chance to see how the other shoe fits for once.
