Journal Star has reported that Gallegos will not be leaving the team after all. Personally, I'm glad to hear it. I know he didn't contribute much, but he is a young guy that started three games, played some significant minutes, and now has another year to (hopefully) develop. I like this better than either not filling the scholarship opening or taking a middle of the pack juco guy that won't help the team in the long run. Gallegos has a chance to help this team, especially in three years -- as long as Doc finds a way to develop his guys.
