At most schools the spring game is treated like exactly what it is: A scrimmage four months from the start of the season. But on certain college campuses you'd think it was a fall Saturday with the circus atmosphere and fervor shown by the fan bases. Here's how those schools rank in our Top 10 Biggest Spring Game Spectacles.
10. Notre Dame
2010 Attendance: 27,241
Ominous weather dampened this year's Blue and Gold game and kept people away from the debut of Brian Kelly. But one debut Notre Dame fans didn't miss was that of Jimmy Clausen in 2007, when over 50,000 people showed up and paid $15 to do so (hey, someone's got to foot the bill for Charlie Weis' contract). The country's hottest quarterback recruit made his debut at the right time as Notre Dame had no starting quarterback after the departure of Brady Quinn.
Those wanting to see the phenom weren't disappointed although his performance was underwhelming (3-fo-7 passing), which may have been a foreshadowing of things to come for the program.

9. Michigan
2010 Attendance: 35,000
Call them gluttons for punishment. Despite going 8-16 the past two years, 35,000 people showed up at Michigan Stadium to see what Rich Rodriguez has in store for 2010. This was really the second spring "game" for the Wolverines, who normally just held a public practice rather than a scrimmage like most other schools. It doesn't appear the defense is fixed as the Blue team won 49-37 after scoring on a 97-yard touchdown touchdown reception.

8. Arkansas
2010 Attendance: 30,000
