The BCS title picture

Alright so I as just reading through some posts across a few boards about last year's BCS picture. I personally don't understand why everyone thought that Nebraska beating UT in the CCG would have caused this mass hysteria and BCS turmoil. What I think is that it would have been a no-brainer that Cincy goes to the NC if we beat Texas, even with TCU ranked higher. They're in an AQ conference and they were undefeated. And although Texas winning made that all irrelevant, Cincy was third in the BCS after beating Pitt, and after the B12 CG. What I wondering is if anyone can argue that TCU would have played in the BCS title game?

 
TCU wouldn't have gotten in. People just started calling any scenario without Texas and Florida (and then later, Texas and Alabama) "chaos".

Ugh, hrmm. Sorry. Yes, chaos. Chaos is what the BCS deserves being that they allow minor conferences representation in BCS games to begin with.
