Will anyone honestly be surprised? Even before the Beebe Files when clocks started ticking and threats started flying, Nebraska had plenty of good reasons to leave this flagging conference. If Notre Dame joins as well, we'll arguably have the most tradition-laden conference in the nation with the Big 16.

Heck, Perlman told some of his friends back on May 13th that Nebraska was going to the Big Ten.

Now I believe the post on Huskerpedia is someone just trying to stir the pot, but using archives that wouldn't have meeting notes up Monday from a meeting that took place the prior Friday isn't very good evidence to disprove the post.

 
About a month ago I would have like cried if we bolted to the Big 10 because I was not a fan of that league but now I am all for and even want to go to the Big 10 because of all this talk about the Pac 10 taking basically the Big 12 South. In the end it if would come down to Mountain West or Big Ten. If we get the invite to the Big 10 then I say lets go.

 
Speculation, speculation... I enjoy reading all of this stuff, but every time something "breaking" comes out, it is all BS from some small time reporter or in this instance message boards... can't wait for this to be over and NU is in the Big 10 and then of course new reports will come out on how NU ruined the BIG 12... ugh!

Same here. Now Im like "lets get the frick out of here." Already thinking about that Wisconsin game in Camp Randle in a couple of years.
