According to Espn college football rumors "A Big Ten invite now in hand, the Huskers are expected to announce on Friday that they are joining"...

I just received an ESPN text saying: Mortensen: Source says Nebraska AD Tom Osborne informed staff that school will make move to Big Ten.

I wonder how the tiger fans will take it this. Actually, never mind, its gonna be a meltdown.

Lurking around their board, quite a few of them were laughing at the rest of the North getting thrown under the bus. Looks like it might be them too. Gonna be quite a few unhappy kitties if this turns out accurate.

Big Ten is going to be awesome with us! We are going to come in and kick some behind. Iowa matchup is gonna be sweet. Even Wisconsin and Minnesota will be fun. But most of all I can't wait to beat Michigan, Penn St and then Ohio St in a conference championship. :thumbs

so now the question is.. does the move start for the 2011-2012 season? or 2012-2013? the sooner the better IMO. i want to watch us in the Big Ten for 2 years in college rather than just one.

I still want an official response from the University. If they make me wait till Friday, I might actually die.

I think it will start 2011 because sadly the Big XII is about to explode so, quicker the better
