well, most people will know what NU is being talked about. If it starts with academics, or lost today, its northwester. If it starts with corn, or won today(in football) its Nebraska.

How about Nebraska....I rarely say NU anyway because I think the name of our state sounds powerful when you say it. I know that might sound corny, but if you put a little rasp in your voice it sounds like Clint Eastwood!
