i hear that a lot, that we can't compete in the big 10, but bo has made us a better team. they still perceive us has the program under callahan and pedersen.

 
is anyone else picturing Bebee sitting on De Los Dodds lap sucking his thumb hoping for good news?

LOL, maybe the Mountain West is trying to say hey, with these super 16 team conferences maybe we can still be the best non AQ of them. Kidding a side, the board is rocking today.

As I have posted yesturday, over the last 15yrs we are 8-1 against upper tier Big 10 schools and 2-0 vs Notre Dame ( the other Big 10 school).

I am not really worried about it. If you were to compare the conferences side by side, the big12 comes out ahead as far as competition, we still should have a pretty easy road to the title game depending on how the conference is split up and who is added. The top of the Big12 is equal to or better than the Big10 tops and the mid portion of the Big12 is pretty similar and lets not even compare the bottoms.

 
It'd be funny to have the Board of Regents come out of the closed session and say, "Hey, Colorado, PSYCH! We were never really planning on leaving the Big 12! C-YA!"

now that would be funny. I've always thought of Colorado as that step child you never wanted but couldn't get rid of
