ATH Desmond Roland *

We all know about the planned visit to Nebraska for the Spring game....here is a quick summary of the newest rivals article:

He has a great relationship with JP. He says JP doesn't make false promises and is straight forward. Des will be joined by his father and mother on the trip.

He said positions have not been discussed in full detail other than JP saying they want to put him on offense and let him compete.

He doesn't have an favorites yet but will probably have an idea after the next couple visits (heading to Arkansas next).

Sounds like you were right with the WR call earlier. He would be a good get, plays against good competition and may help bring other quality WR in.

Pictures up on rivals of him sure made him look like a receiver. He's got to be faster than 4.64?
Nebraska is recruiting him as a Wide Receiver. He favors Arkansas and Oklahoma States type of offense because of their passing game but has no problem leaving the state. Use to live in Arkansas, has family in Arkansas, and likes their passing offense makes them the clear favorite.

The only good thing we got going for us with Roland is that we have our best recruiter after him....Mr. John Papuchis.

The most impressive place he's visited so far is Nebraska and was really impressed that we had a lot of fans at the spring game for a scrimmage. JP is also recruiting Desmond but he really wants to play running back where we're recruiting him at the wide receiver spot but he wants to see how we use our wide receivers in the offense. Wants to visit Nebraska on gameday though.
