Personally, I would have liked to see us at 11 or 12. Just seems like a better spot for what we showed last year and the potential this year.....we can move up as we win.

it's just not a strong field. what teams should be ahead of us? we have as strong an argument for no. 9 as anyone else.

I'd be lying if I said that I didn't think this is really cool, but I think it's just too high. We've got a lot of proving to do before we're ranked in the top ten. I think we can do it, but we just need to prove it.

Feels more and more accurate now that I've had some time to marinate in the thought of us at #9... It feels about right.

We showed so much POTENTIAL last year but we didn't show a top ten team. Heck we didn't even beat a top 20 team - Arizona was 20 in the BCS standings when we played them.

I love the 9 ranking but EARN that top ten spot. If we started the year at 12, we'd be in the top 10 probably after the Washington game.

i agree, BO has the right attitude. just win your games and everything else will take care of itself. that is why i do not mind by to ten and would not have been upset to be top 15 or even top 20. we have plenty of games to prove ourselves and if we do work on the field, preseason polls won't matter.
