Enderle may test Nebraska's inexperienced starting linebackers -- sophomore Alonzo Whaley and juco transfer Lavonte David -- who struggled with communication and aligning the defense Saturday night.
Pelini saw "big improvement" in those areas Monday, he said.
You know the cliche: Teams often make a big jump in improvement from game one to game two. Well, there are reasons for the cliche.
"I think you have to make a jump because you get the first-game jitters out and all those things," the head coach said. "You get a little bit better idea where you are. You get a little bit more into game planning.
"I do believe this: You have to get better every week. If you want to play well at the end and want to compete for a championship, yeah, I want to make a big jump this week, but I want to make a big jump every week because you have to keep building and keep moving on and keep getting better."
