Bobby Rainey was good...

He is a darn good back and no doubt the best player on their team, but id like to see him come back to lincoln in midseason when the D is hitting its stride.

Not that good. There's no excuse for giving up 155 yards to a sunbelt RB when we (among tons of others) expect(ed) our defense to be elite again this year after giving up less than 100 rushing ypg.

At that going rate he'll go for 1800 yards. He's not 1800 yards good.

On that big run, I believe it said somewhere in some article that half of our team was playing zone, and the other half was playing something completely different.

we saw a lot of good backs across the country go for big games to kick off the year. especially with a team like wku, he IS their offense, so Im not so worried.

He did fall forward a lot tho. problem for our undersized lb's? wheres our hitters?

I also believe they forgot to show him fumble on that big run

That should be expected and can be corrected when you have inexperienced play callers.

Yeah I know, I was just saying that like 50 of his total yards were from that one mental error.

There a gangsta hold on Lavonte David at the start of the run. Look at the highlight. I throw my yellow hankie every time I see it. It happens right as Rainey is running by Lavonte.

Big12 refs at their finest. And you can bet we'll get even less calls than the few we used to get.

Don't think those were Big 12 refs.

I doubt they were from the Sunbelt. Where were they from?

I'm pretty sure they were from the Big 12. I know the chain gang was.
