According to the Topeka Capital Journal, Kansas State is dropping another football series with a nationally ranked program. The Wildcats reached a mutual agreement with Virginia Tech to cancel the home-and-home series scheduled for 2014 and 2016, according to a letter from athletic director John Currie posted on K-State's athletics website. K-State will not owe a financial penalty. K-State also canceled a home-and-home series against Oregon that was scheduled to begin next season.
