Where do the Huskies rank in the Big 12?

Just trying to find a way to relate to Washington. My first impulse is that a team that lost to BYU, which lost by 21 to a service academy can't be very good. But that still doesn't give me much to go on. If the Huskies joined the Big 12, which team would they duplicate in terms of difficulty level?

I'd say their best years they would be at the same level of the Okie Lite and TxTech teams we've seen in the past 4-5 years. In their worst years, well, they did go 0-12 recently.

What about this year?
Judging what I see this year, I think they are maybe not quite the level of Kansas State. I can see Washington beating UCLA, but probably will be closer than the Kansas State score. I think maybe with Missouri as perhaps being the 3rd best team, that's about the level I expect to see Washington play.

Yeah, I think if they were placed in the Big 12 north, they would be a 3rd place team, maybe 4th.

The season is pretty young, but I'd say Washington would probably either place 3rd or 4th in the Big 12 North. They're not a great team, but they could beat you if you make enough mistakes.

im sure no huskies fan, but neither of those teams were ever at a MNC level for multiple and continuous years, multiple time conference winners and national champions.

But anyway for the O.P., they won zero games 2 years ago, 5 last year and are in the second year of a new coach/system. They play in the pac10 which, in all honesty, is not on the same level as much of the big12. However, what they 'are' this year is yet to be determined.

Seems to me like they resemble our team a few years ago where we went 5-7, then 8-4 and beat Michigan and everyone felt like we were on the rise again. Then we went and got absolutely raped by USC, at home. I'm hoping we are doing the raping this time. :woo

I'm pretty sure we're talking about where they are now, not from 91-92. They can't claim to be at that same level, just like we can't either. So I'll stand by my assessment. Since Slick Rick's first season up through last year, your team is 58-76. You're 1-3 in bowl games, of which you haven't been to one since 2002. You play in what is considered a weaker conference than the Big 12. Yeah, I think I'm pretty spot on in saying you haven't done much lately, which is the topic of conversation. Not to say that you can't get better, because you guys obviously are.

Holy crap.

Very ignorant post.
Powerful argument.

Don't need to argue it, anyone older than 10 would know it's a ridiculous and ludicrous comment. Not worth spending any time on when a simple Google search would educate him.

Even a crappy wiki link would immediately blow up his comments. Took five seconds to Google it:

Wiki is not technically a credible source......

Damn, you got me. You're 2-7 in bowl games since your last MNC. Out of your 4 MNCs, only 1 was an undefeated season. The Apple Cup, not to be confused with a nutritious snack, is not important to anyone outside of Washington, unless it determines a Pac10 champ/Rose Bowl/BCS participant, which it has not for some time.
