Heisman Helu

I agree with epoc... Burkhead is the more exciting of the two right now. Did everyone notice he made ESPN's #4 play of the day with that one handed emergence from the pile on the 10 yard line.

Helu has no chance at the Heisman If he keeps running the way he has, all season, then I think he will have a good chance at going first round though.

If Taylor Martinez puts up Jamal Turner numbers against Texas he will win the Heisman.. he better start working on that 295+ yards rushing in a single game.

I highly doubt any of our guys will win the Heisman or even have a real campaign this year. The only one right now I'd say that has an outside shot would be Martinez but that's about it as of right now.

Helu would have to be a featured back to get that kind of shot. Unless Burkhead goes down and he steps up to the tune of 2k yards, not very likely.

Regardless of Helu's performance this year, there is no way he is a first round RB.
Really?? I have heard analysts bring this up. I may be wrong but I guess we will see.
not a chance at being first rounder. if your "analyst" is lane grindle i'll believe you heard it but shouldn't believe it. if the analyst is anyone other than a husker sports network voice, give me a link, cause i gotta read his reasons. i love helu, but no chance

Ya, not first round. First day...maybe.

honestly, i do not see it in him. i do not think he has the stamina to run for that many yards in a game, and i think that is why we see him start to fumble in the second half, it is from exhaustion. i could be way wrong, but there is something to him fumbling more in the second half, and let us face it, he is not that big of a guy. he has a small stature and not a lot of muscle. i am not saying he is not strong, but those hits and long runs can wear a guy out. they need to distribute the ball and allow him to rest.
