Looks like it is going to happen. I hope NU fights the Big 12 to the death over the departure fees they say we owe.

We'll see. I still don't see sCUm giving up that much money to leave early unless the Big 12 caved in.

Earlier reports said CU wouldn't be leaving the Big 12 until 2012 because they couldn't afford to leave earlier.

I thought that the Pac-12 will finance the departure fee. It would be hilarious to see the Big XII -1 next year, even funnier than when its the SWC v.2.

And just saw the other thread that indicates the NU and the Big 12 have settled. I wonder how it compares to the proposed deal Colorado is working on with them.
