There's several OL I could put on this list but they've all been very up and down.

My top 10 is this:

10. Jared Crick, averaging 5 tackles per game is solid from Suh's replacement, but it's not quite the level we were expecting. He still plays high with his pads at times this year and needs to improve his hand technique some.

9. Alex Henry (What more is there to say about this kid. He's showtime every year, every game, every kick.)

8. Helu has had a few big games, but hasn't managed to be as consistent as Rex

7. Alfozo Dennard (big int's last few games, but has been beat on receivers a few times)

6. Prince (while he hasn't been picking off balls watch his film and you'll see why the QB throws no where near him)

5. Tmart- makes big plays with his feet, but is a below average passer at best. He locks onto receivers and throws wild passes into double coverage. He is a home run threat until they stack the box against us.

4. Gomes (the guy is every where on every play it seems)

3. Brandon Kinnie (Go to guy on 3rd downs and has been lights out all year in every aspect, blocking, returns, etc)

2. Rex Burkehead (kid is a gamer)

1. Lavonte David (without him our defense would be giving up tons of large plays. For a first year to come in and contribute 19 tackles in game 4 is unreal.)

The Prince and Kinnie both should be on here I agree. Im just sick of fumbling the football - Martinez, Helu Jr, Niles Paul

10) Taylor Magic

Hm...I do like Lavonte a lot, but I left him out due to Bo's comments. Makes me feel like, for all his tackles, he has a long way to go as far as being in the right place and just understanding his position. I think the other 9 guys all belong on that list...maybe PJ would be the borderline guy, I haven't heard much about how he is doing.

I'd give mention to Jeremiah Sirles. Everybody made such a big deal about Yoshi all spring. But for a RS frosh, Sirles is looking pretty good. He's our future at RT.
