Alabama and Michigan

I have been flipping back and forth between the Michigan game and the Alabama game today and both are getting it handed to them. If Alabama loses how far do they drop and what do people think we will appear at in the first BCS rankings??????

Depends on how they look if they lose. I think if the game stays like it is now, Bama will drop to 7 or 8. If they game is close, 4 or 5. Michigan 23 or 24.

Last year they came out Oct 18th so it is right around this time maybe next week...

Wow. Just turned on the Alabama-South Carolina game. Can't believe it's 21-9 South Carolina! Alabama just missed the extra point!!!

If Alabama loses, I don't see them staying in the top 5, even if they lost close. Don't think they'll drop below 7, but Nebraska and Oklahoma should be ahead of them.

South Carolina has been playing hard and their running back Latimore is a beast and runs hard. I am sick of hearing people crown Alabama champs already. SEC is down this year so its good to see whats happening today lets hope it continues

I'm with you! I'm tired of hearing how Alabama is already the national champs and nobody can keep up with them. If it weren't for a fourth quarter collapse by Arkansas, Alabama wouldn't be ranked #1 right now. I'm glad to see the SEC shifting the tide for a change.

I hope the game c$%ks can hold off the tide in the second half. Would love to see them lose.

The loss would drop Bama below both us and OU at least, too many good undefeated teams and anyone who stays undefeated in a BCS AQ conf in the top 10 plus Boise St and TCU should be a ahead of them.

With an Alabama loss coupled with the big Nebraska win, we may see Nebraska leap frog TCU and/or Boise State. There are many anti-non BCS Conference voters who would love to have us in the Top 3 with Oregon and Ohio State. Unlikely, but I've seen pollsters do stranger things.
