1st off I was born and raised in Nebraska, and went to ksu for vet school. My first loyalty is to my Alma mater since that's how I make a living. With that said Congrats on the dominant win over the cats. You have a great team, Martinez is a stud! Go out and whoop on the whorns this weekend. Sure hate to see you leave the conference, I always thought of ksu and Nebraska as brothers (although you are definately the big brother when it comes to football). Now unfortunately ksu is stuck with Texas. Anyway go out and send those Texas punks packing this weekend. Good luck the rest of the season.

My wife almost went to KSU for vet school, but she picked the 2+2 program with Iowa State. She is in her second year now.

Thanks for the kind words, I'll miss playing the big 8 teams.

I have always cheered for big 8 schools over those Texas teams. Like I said I will miss Nebraska. Not so much Colorado. I went to vet school at ksu before the contract stopped between ksu/nu. Anyway I have always cheered for NU in all games except the ksu game. Most of my family are all Nebraska fans. I was in Lincoln with family during all 3 national title years in the nineties. I partied just as hard as every husker fan on o street.

thats funny i went to the vet school at ISU for a couple years myself, just go out of it 2 years ago..

 
That's why I went to a small Christian school for undergrad and to play football. It kept me out of the party seen a little better. I always went to Lincoln to party with my cousins and friends. Great times.
