Red Out in Liberty Missouri

OK so our son and his teamates/classmates decided to make today their red out day in school at Liberty North. They couldn't do it tomorrow because they have to wear their football jerseys. I wish I could have gone to school and see how many students were wearing their husker gear. Pretty cool that the kids thought to do this. Thought I would pass it along.

I made a trip up to Lincoln last weekend to ensure everyone in my family had something Red to wear on Saturday.

I find it rather humorous that people have to be reminded to wear red on Saturdays. Don't take my post as I'm making fun of you which I'm not but seeing several posts on this board and on other boards reminding people to wear red is hilarious and stupid at the same time.

Ha to early in the morning for pics. He had on his NU skull cap, upsidedown Longhorn shirt with .01 on back and red NU shorts. Also changed his Liberty North key lanyard to his husker one. Wouldn't surprise me if some of his grades slipped a bit today.

Aren't they out of school tomorrow on another one of the famous "Professional Development Days?" Mine are, but they aren't at North yet.

Are there a bunch of Husker fans at North? My youngest is a huge Husker fan and wears her Husker gear all the time! :bigredn:

Yes no school tomorrow they had to do it today either way because of football. You should come to a North game our son Jersey #1 leads the team in the husker prayer on the sideline right before the kickoff. The school only has soph and Jr. in there first year as you know. Its awesome seeing all those kids doing the prayer no matter what school they like they love doing it.

That's awesome. I'm amazed that they have won two games this year with no Sr. class!! Well, depending on how many more times they redistrict I've got a 6th grader and a 3rd grader, both girls and my 3rd grader wants to play football at NU, but will settle for being on the Women's BB team.
