I might be in the minority a little bit but I just don't think 4 man fronts work well without blitzing somebody. Alabama runs the 4 man front (usually 1 man walking up) but they bring a lot of pressure. We seem to run a true 4-3 old school D putting our corners on islands and not sending much pressure. Sure, our 4 man front is strong but I just think the 4-3 is too easily penetrated.

The run defense wasn't the problem on that drive. There were at least 2 or 3 plays with busted coverages in the secondary. We were giving them easy first downs.
