Guess not.

Lead with his shoulder.... player was still in the game... wasn't defenseless... .ran right into Eric.

Keep your head on a swivel and that stuff doesn't happen.

These kids have lives after football. No point in people getting blasted outside of the play.

We won't get another look at it for now, so I can't say beyond it didn't look like the guy was out of the play or really letting up. Whatever. It was illegal no matter how you slice it, so the discussion is moot.

That Okie St. guy was out cold.

That wasn't targeting a defenseless player, but it was a helmet to helmet and should have been flagged.

It most certainly WAS targeting a defenseless player. Niles was 20 yards ahead and the defender was already slowing down.

I just watched the replay. Niles was behind them when the hit occurred.

Yeah Niles was behind him. The only thing cheap about that hit was that it was helmet to helmet
