That wasn't targeting a defenseless player, but it was a helmet to helmet and should have been flagged.

It most certainly WAS targeting a defenseless player. Niles was 20 yards ahead and the defender was already slowing down.

I agree with yo 100%!!!! The hit had ZERO to do with the play. It was a cheap shot to say the least!

He ran into martin, he could have easily defended himself.

The guy wasn't in the play and he was jogging half speed. I know you play to the whistle, but you also don't go searching for players out of the play to take your frustrations out on.

Watch the replay. The dude was letting off the gas and so far behind the play and not even looking.
