You never know. A team may have a kicker miss clutch field goals in a playoff game and have the coach draft him. It happened with my Jets when Doug Brien screwed the team out of a victory against Pittsburgh, then they drafted Mike Nugent in the second round. What a bad pick.

Ed Cunningham says yesterday that it was a shame that he wasn't on this list. Probably the best kicker in NCAA history. I don't know for sure but that is a pretty huge compliment from a guy that isn't a NU homer. Franklin pretty much agreed with him. Most NU fans had the TV on mute and prolly didn't hear those kind words. Congrats Alex. You will be rich very soon. 2nd round pick for sure.

I guess i still just dont understand what more a guy can do. He is perfect except for one, from 51 yards that was blocked. If the other kickers are not perfect and essentially Alex is, cuz a block is not on him for the most part, then it makes me wonder what their basis for judging actually is.

2nd round pick is kind of a fantasy. Mason Crosby was an insane consensus top kicker his year (along with one other guy) and he was a 6th round pick.

Let's say that Henery will hopefully/likely get drafted and leave it at that.
