Things continue to go downhill for Texas!

Florida went and got plan b or c here. They went and got a coordinator over a few guys with head coaching experience.

When you get right down to it; how much has Muschamp actually proven?

Before he went to Texas he led 5 SEC defenses in the Top 10.

His DC resume is comparable to Bo Pelini's. Florida is doing what Nebraska did when they took a chance on Pelini who also didn't have any HC experience.

Wow. Wonder if Mack Brown knew when he fired his offensive coordinator that is defensive coordinator was going to leave of his own accord.

Anyone know if he plans to take anyone with him?

If he does, after the "required retirement" a few of the Texas' coaches went through already, old Mac's coaching cupboard might be looking a little bare.

To add salt to the wound, just seen where Muschamp is going to try to pull Applewhite with him. One bad year in Austin and everyone bails, lol.

This will expediate the demise of the Big 12. Texas will be down for a couple of years and it'll be a one horse race with just OU.
