Positives and Negatives of the 2010 season

[Apathy]

What are your positives and negatives that occured during the 10' season.

Positives

- Winning the Big 12 North

- Another 10 win season

- A lot of young players making big impacts (C. Evans, K. Reed, Osborne) I know I'm missing more

- Playing in the Big 12 Title game

- Defense Defense Defense.

- A top 15 recruiting class

- Braylon Heard qualifies

- Leaving the Big 12

- Helu rushing for over 1,000 yards again

- Lavonte David!!!!

- Dennard, David, and quite possibly Crick staying for their senior season

Negatives

- Embarrassing ourselves in the Big 12 title game....again

- Bowl loss to a lousy Washington team

- Offensive production in the 2nd half of the season is god awful

- Retaining Watson (if he's still here for the 11' season)

- Leaving the Big 12 as losers

- Too many dropped passes during cruical moments of a game

- Too many fumbles

- Penalties

- Failure to score TD's in the 2nd half (Only 1 TD in the last 7 quarters)

- Losing to Texas and the Big 12 Title game

Think you pretty much covered it....good list

A few more positives

- Yoshi played fairly well

- Henery being named All-American, despite other snubs

- Burkhead showing signs of being hybrid (NU of old, meet NU present)

- Beating MU, KSU, CU , KU , ISU in last go around

Possible negatives

- Still don't know what to "call" our offense

- OL not getting better for 3 straight yrs

- Pearlman throwing Bo under bus publicly

- Wondering if our Defensive scheme (now in place after yr 3) will work in Big 10 ???

- Henery being snubbed for all kicking awards, except All-American

Fire Watsgrove and it will at least end on a high note. The last of the Callahan blot will be sponged away.

worse than that.........if no major coaching changes are made....imagine going into Big 10 play with this team atmosphere and piss poor offense + coachs...i won't be able to watch next season...this thing is broke, to pretend it is not, is to not fix it.....sigh

I hope to God Bo sacks up enough to get that done. If he doesn't, it's not going to be pretty in the Big10.

 

[Count 'Bility]

This season was 3 three things. Beat Texas, Win the Big 12, Win the bowl. We did neither of the three. Not much for good feelings can come out of this year. The most disappointing moment was watching how the team showed up emotionally for the Texas game after all the build up. I still remember sitting in my seat middle of the 1st qtr saying "No way in hell we win this game they way they showed up"
