i hope you're right, but if any of those were "more than capable", i doubt the coaches would be scrambling so hard to sign a scholarship kicker. While getting a recruit would be nice, if we don't, it won't be the end of the world. We have more than capable kickers in Brett Maher, Jason Dann, and Jon Damkroger. If we don't sign one, a walk on will come in and provide competition.
I would probably use the term "servicable" when describing the kickers on roster. I see Maher punting and Dann getting first crack at kicker. I expect if all goes well they will go the walkon approach next recruiting cycle, but if it hurts the team I can see the coaches going out and offering someone nationally or maybe the Farlee kid from Norfolk Catholici hope you're right, but if any of those were "more than capable", i doubt the coaches would be scrambling so hard to sign a scholarship kicker. While getting a recruit would be nice, if we don't, it won't be the end of the world.
