Nebraska fans planning to attend the Red-White Spring Game can purchase tickets on Wednesday, Feb. 2, beginning at 8 a.m. The 2011 spring football game is set for Saturday, April 16 at Memorial Stadium with kickoff at 1 p.m.

Took them long enough to post that. I've been looking for info on the site forever. The ticket office has been telling people tickets go on sale 2/2/11 for a month.

Who runs Huskers.com, and what's the holdup on info? Seems terribly slow to me.

 
So in the Red White game, is Nebraska still a part of the Big XII since the Big 10 deal doesn't go in effect till July, I am personally hoping that Nebraska colors out the Big XII logo. I can't wait till the start of the Big 10 season.

 
I don't remember much of anything from the spring game last year. I came away pretty bored. I'd rather see the 1's vs the 1's and 2's vs the 2's than the mixing and matching that went on last spring. They didn't even have the first unit O-line working together did they? I seem to remember they split up the O-line.

And guys in red jerseys and white pants and white jerseys and white pants and white jerseys and red pants... It should have been the Red White / White White/ White Red game.

Come on somebody, talk me into going this year. I just can't get geared up for the spring game.

 
I'll probably make the trip down to Lincoln the day they start selling tickets, i waited nearly a month and i didn't get so hot of tickets last year, hopefully i can get better seating this year.

 
If you can't get excited to watch even simulated Husker football in the Spring, along with a day of tailgating, I don't know what to tell you. After a craptastic end to the season and four months of crummy weather, I love the Spring Game. I'll go every year they let me.

exactly. if you can find something better to do than take in a lazy stroll around downtown lincoln, the stadium and its various offering on a spring day in nebraska, youre a better man than i. or something like that.

ive thought long and hard, and gone over quite a few pictures, and the only thing i can remember being in the stadium that referred to the big 12 were some flags and the chain gangs/sideline guys vests.

there has never been a big 12 logo on the field or actually a physical part of the stadium that im aware of.

 
Okay! One month later and I got my tickets tonight. All the talk about Beck's offense, and the tailgates and a chance to sit in Memorial Stadium, plus i got tickets in the east stadium, near my season tickets. So now I'm pumped. Who will show up as the best qb? How will the secondary play? Ron Brown as running backs coach!!!

But please, Bo if you're reading this, play 1's against 1's and 2's against 2's and don't have the white pants and red pants and all that!
