OL Mike Shoff

I don't know if he played football last year or not; but, he is the Number 1 rated wrestler in Class D. He is undefeated so far this year. His only High School Wrestling loss came in the state finals his freshman year. If I remember, it was a controversial loss. He is undefeated since then.

I believe he didn't play football due to injury

He will have to come to the junior day, and prove to the coaches that he has taken the necessary steps to heal his knee to the fullest. But, in say that I am confident that he will get his offer, and commit on the spot.

 
Has made it to the semi-finals in a whopping :38 seconds. The pin in the first round took place in :10, crazy. This is no suprise, maybe the kid from Howells makes him wrestle past the first period in the finals.

 
Tough night for Mike in the semi's at state. Took all of 13 seconds to dispatch a kid from Oneill St. Mary's who was 34-8 on the year.

Onto the finals with a whopping 51 seconds of mat time. Takes on Nate Bazata of Howells(38-2) in the finals. Could be a good match. Might take over a minute.

Knee looks fine as of tonight. Pinned his opponent in :13 in the first period tonight in the State Wrestling SemiFinals match.

Being from the area, I've seen the Bazata kid wrestle a few times this year, and he's definitely the real deal. With that being said, I don't think he'll make it out of the first period in this one.
