Man I sure hope he kept this speed!Give your best guess.
Braylon Heard
DOUBLE WING! DOUBLE WING!Here's what I want to see . . . which will never happen . . . and probably for good reasons.
I want to see a flexbone formation with Martinez under center, Burkhead as the fullback, and 2 out of Abdullah/Green/Heard lined up as slotbacks.

My goodness I love the triple option.
Well the A back blocked me last time so if I just shift slightly that way . . . <crushed from side by WR> . . . what happened?DOUBLE WING! DOUBLE WING!Here's what I want to see . . . which will never happen . . . and probably for good reasons.

Ameer plays 6A in Al. His 200+ yards from scrimmage against Hoover shows his ability against "high level of competition."
:facepalm:Here's what I want to see . . . which will never happen . . . and probably for good reasons.

I was QB in high school and this is the offense we ran. Worst offense ever if you have speed! Its for little kids and teams like Navy.
I understand where you're coming from with the bolded statement. As for the hype factor, Husker fans have been following Green since his sophomore year whereas we've only just learned about Heard last year during his recruiting process. Had the staff not pushed hard for him when they did, he probably would've stuck to his commitment with West Virginia.I chose Heard over Green due to the fact that it seems the highest hyped guys dont ever seem to work out. Also the adversity Heard has had to go through on his road to getting here proves that he is determined and a testimant to his work ethic which will show on the field. Dont know enough about Abdullah to vote for him.
While I agree with the facepalm I don't think Nebraska's offense was ever a true triple option flexbone offense.
