Name of Husker vs Hawkeye rivalry?

How 'bout: "Another Ugly Pothole In the Road Towards Nebraska's B10 Championship"

That's exactly what it is anyway. :dunno

The Mighty Mo Rivalry? or The Big Muddy Rivalry?

All of those are nicknames of the Missouri River, so just thought i would throw that in the mix.

I have heard some Hawkeye fans are wanting to call it the "Corn Bowl Rivalry"

I actually think the Farmageddon nickname is going to catch and become a very, very widespread term used by fans and commentators/writers/etc. unofficially. It seems like it's been sticking so far.
I think you're probably right... Of course, that means we're going to have to pry it away from one of the greatest rivalries college football has ever seen...

The REAL Farmageddon Rivalry
Nice find Hercules! That actually makes a lot of sense considering they're both AG schools...I am shocked I hadn't heard it on ESPN though.
Never heard of it because nobody cares.

Or just "Corn Bowl."

Before the SEC expanded, Alabama and Tennessee always plays on the "Third Saturday in October."

So why don't we just call it the "Day After Thanksgiving" or something simple instead of something corn-y ;)

I think the only issue with making reference to the day is that it could change pretty easily. Right now, we're only playing Iowa on "Black Friday" in 2011 and 2012.

I think we have to play each other a few times before an "official" rivalry name is pinned to it. For now, I like Farmageddon and Fuzzy's suggestions.
