If he wants to make a presence he should learn to be more consistent on his pass catching and get off the ball quicker instead of getting jammed at the line. He sure has been in front of the media a lot this last week. I hope he delivers more then he did last year.

I am guessing that he will contribute quite a bit more this year than last. Last year was his first in D1 football --- and the typical largest improvement in a player is going from season 1 to season 2. He is a certainly a solid player. If he learns to hang on to passes better (which I am sure he is working on... and likely getting better at) then he will be solid... maybe even pretty good. No... Jerry Rice he is not... but a solid.. to maybe even pretty good WR? I'd think so.

The real question marks pertain to the others. Kinnie is the most seasoned and most likely to perform at a solid to good level --- for me, the question is... Will NU get something out of Gillyan or Jean-Baptiste or S. Osborne or Q. Enunwa or K. Bell? Or... someone else? If one or, ideally, more of these guys are at the Kinnie level from last year, we can be OK at WR. If not, then we have a problem.

Im really excited to see the young guys at wide out step up this year. We have heard their names call for long enough, this is the year for them to come up. Quincy Enunwa, Stanley Jean Baptiste, Kenny Bell, Khiry Cooper(if he can continue to juggle 2 sports).

The threat of Kyler Reed and the run threats of Taylor and Rex should really open these guys up to make plays.

Did he? I am sure you are right as you must of looked it up. I thought last year was his first. Ok, so... if that is the case... then maybe NU is in more trouble at the WR than I thought. Still... he should improve, but....

BK really came on strong late in the '09 season, then lead the team in receptions last year. He and Kyler are really our only returning pass catchers with much experience. I know Be Cotton but he is mostly a blocker, and Enunwa, but he saw limited action last year. Maybe Curenski can step up in his final season.

unless he got a "hands" transplant, i wouldn't expect too much. with all his speed,there is good reason why he didn't see the field. our receivers have nowhere to go but up...some will finish their career here riding the pine.

I think at the beginning of the season he had a groin injury.

Gilleylen played in seven games, but did not have reception. He battled nagging injuries that kept him out of the first three games, but played in five of the final seven contests.
