I wonder if Shavodrick Beaver leaving has anything to do with this opportunity. Kind of ironic actually considering it was Beaver that went ape on Green's Dayton team in the state championship game. Cody put up video game numbers and Shav crushed them with his performance.

Recruiting services pegged Green as one of the top 10 quarterback prospects in the nation when he was coming out of Dayton, Texas, two years ago.

Well, Rivals does list 20 "top 10 qb" prospects every year.

Kody Spano was one of them, too.
