Caputo's snapping

So I saw some highlights from practice on 10/11 tonight and noticed Caputo is still snapping high. I really thought that was a problem last year that never got remedied. With our style of O that can really throw off the timing with the QB needing to reach and stretch and juggle the snap. I couldn't believe it didn't get better last year and now I see it again this year. I know i'm just gonna have to wait until the first game to see exactly how its gonna be but I hope it gets fixed! Did anyone else notice that last year or on the highlights?

Dude, that's a reach. I don't think high snaps had anything to do with our lousy offensive performance last year.

My source can confirm his snapping has improved. My source is very trustworthy. He wears a suit, has a million dollar smile, he's handsome, well adjusted, has a firm handshake, and his hair is dapper.

Your source is zoogies?

I agree.

I thought his high snaps were infuriating last year. So many times on 3rd and short he would bullet it up to Martin-ez head and that split second makes a huge difference.

Then I was looking at pics on LJS.com yesterday, and sure enough, theres a shot of Taylor juggling a ball above his head w the caption "martinez handles high snap during practice"

It better get fixed

And I have no idea why the coaches are concerned with having a good back up center.

Well, the rest of ya can worry when we're one of the leading turnover teams again! But realize, what's the first thing that happens on an offensive play? The snap. It's THE MOST important part of every offensive play no matter how much you want to downplay it. Bad snaps ruin plays, waste downs, and kill offenses!!

if this was such a problem, why wasn't it ddressed in the off season? anyone notice or remember this at the spring game?
