Yankees and Joba Show NU some love

When I think of Yankees fans I imagine a boxing ring, and inside of that ring is Joe Frazier and a three year old girl with a developmental disability.

All the Yankees fans are cheering for Smoking Joe.

Great post! But you have to give a pass to those of us who came from there and simply root for their (one time) home team. Still... that was a very funny, and actually somewhat accurate description of Yankee fans.

Thanks man! But you got a pass from me immediately when I realized you suffer from the same disease as I...the dreaded Cub-itis. :cheers

Hey... but the Cubs are on a roll... 12 of the last 15! So... next year the World Series!

Love all the trendy Red Sox fans right now...what a joke. Where was everyone when the sox couldn't win a world series for 80 years?
Well, Im only 23, so for 57 of those years I was probably in a state of deep, deep sleep, but I don't know. When I was 10, I went to Fenway to see a game. When I was 12, I went to Fenway to see a Yankees/Sox game. You do the math, I'm pretty sure that was even before Aaron F-ing Boone. Good try tho partner.

"Next year." The eternal refrain ;)

Baseball, watching paint dry, watching a drip from a broken faucet, changing shadows on a bus bench, turtle races, how many more ways are there to describe the National waste of time.

there are 4860 regular season games.... I love to play baseball and love to watch post season... the rest to me is meaningless. especially the yankees. but its cool that they showed some love to joba and to NU

I too love playing baseball --- between baseball and softball I played just over 40 years worth. I also like the post season the best from a fan perspective. And for another poster up there... the Yankees/Red Sox have the greatest rivalry in sports in my book.
