I guess I don't know how they pick the crew... but I thought non con games were usually neutral crews. Maybe that's just bowl games.

They aren't a MWC or Big10 crew so that's neutral.

I do hope we never have to see that crooked crew again. It was no coincidence we got stuck with them for three of our eight conference games. Screw Anderson and Beebe for that crap, and looking the other way on our guys getting cheap-shotted. I would hope TO does talk to whomever he needs to about Burk never touching our games again.

I'm almost positive that non-conference games feature impartial (or about as close to it) crews as possible, in order to technically rule out any biases.

It's extremely possible, therefore, that we may see this crew in one of our four non-con games or a bowl game.

Did this OP see my status update on the main huskerboard status log thing?
Well considering he started this thread before you posted your status, I'm gonna say no :LOLtartar
Oh my bad I feel like an a$$ now lol. Anyways I'm watching the 09' OU/Husker game on DVD now (while drinking captain and coke) and the same crew is officiating this game.
Thanks when I seen the officials last night I thought they looked familure.

Contrary to popular opinion on this thread, most OOC games get their officials from one of the teams' conferences. Usually the visiting team supplies the officials, but smaller schools will frequently reduce their costs by allowing the home team to supply the refs. I've been unsuccessful in finding a list of the Big Ten officials online or finding which conference Burks works for. Anyone else have better luck?
