Rain Rain Go Away

If the rain continues today, as it looks like it will into gametime, this will be a good test to see how our ball handling improved. Does anyone think it will be a significant factor in today's offensive plan?

Rain is always a factor in your strategies. Glad it's the first game and not wisky or osu to try it out for the first time of the season.

Anyone remember the last time the home-opener had rain? Usually it's hotter than crap. And I disagree with knapplc, football weather in the SEC is rain. Football weather in Nebraska is snow.

I'm more worried about the situation in Iowa City with this rain delay. It's an hour from kickoff and this game isn't done yet!

Rain is moving east and there is no more development west of Lincoln, so it should dry out for gametime, though the field might be a little wet.

What's going to happen on the BTN (Cox Cable) if the Iowa game isn't done before Husker kickoff? I'm recording it but I have to go to the anatomy lab at 2 pm.

Richard that's what I'm wondering. I would hope maybe Cox should turn on a overflow channel for HD viewing. I sure as hell don't want to watch f'ing Iowa while the Huskers are starting up.

And here in lies the advantage of being abroad...the B1G Network isn't perfect...hell, isn't much better than the Extreme Sports and Poker Network. Good luck all.
