He was quoted as saying he always thought of himself as a defensive player. I don't see how this is any kind of 'solution' to the secondary problems. Dennard is the only partial one, and experience the other side of that coin. I think we'll see steady improvement. A lot of teams we're playing aren't exactly air raid offenses.
I kind of think maybe he realized that w/ Turner, Bell, Enunwa he isn't gonna get many reps on O. The dbacks are struggling so maybe it is an opportunity.
Not sure if this is a solution for this year but he would be matchup nicely in the future to some of the bigger WR's in the B1G. Strikes me as a safety though rather than a cb. Not sure how quick he is?
Just Pelini's way of making sure we have secondary talent. He has done this a time or too before with people that seem to be needed to help out at wr. Wonder if he can make the field in the next two years.
