Black Jersey?

White jerseys and red pants has already been confirmed. Also, it's obvious it's not going to happen since it would make no goddamned sense whatsoever to add some other color to Nebraska's uniforms.

Well here’s my novel idea. Since people are sensitive to tradition we should keep our regular colors. Instead of changing colors, we should print all the jersey numbers in hexadecimal. That would show the rest of the B1G how incredibly smart we are—despite getting booted out of the AAU and all.
Hexidecimal....brilliant. props to you good sir

Obviously if we wore black uniforms for one game a year it would form a wormhole that would erase all of our past achievements, history and tradition.
Good post!

Wearing a black jersey once = loss of tradition (To some in this thread)

But who the f#*k lists Scarlett and Cream as a huge tradition at Nebraska? The first ten things on my list when I think of tradition are (in no particular order):

1. Blackshirts

2. Tunnel Walk

3. The Sellouts

4. Walk-Ons

5. The Retired Jerseys

6. The Heisman Trio

7. Bowl Games

8. The Back-to-Backs (70', 71') and (94', 95')

9. The Decade of Dominance

10. Academic All-Americans

I don't see how a black jersey takes any of that away from us. It is what it is, a jersey.
Hmmm didn't see many Husker fans saying the same thing when we wore our blac.kout jerseys in the Holiday Bowl. For you it's tradition but for us it's "ghetto"... hmmmm
