Aggie Fan Here

Howdy Big Red,

Some old Ags and I were sitting around after the game this weekend discussing some of our favorite memories of Aggie football from years past. The topic of who we would miss most from the Big 12 came up. We almost unanimously agreed on you guys. I just wanted you guys to know that pretty much every Aggie I talk to loves Big Red. Your fans are class acts and we respect that a whole lot in Aggieland. Good luck in the Big 10. You guys are going to do well there. Give Wisconsin hell this weekend.

Well. . .you do have 1/2 of our old athletic department so it should feel a lot like Nebraska down there. :thumbs

at all the aTm fans....

Glad to see the aggies moving out from under the texa$$ stronghold. I personally think the naysayers will eat crow and aTm will be a huge success in the SEC. aTm was always respectful to us and respected by us. (Last year's nutt grabbing aside.) eyeswear2allthatsholy

oh and... Good Luck to all the Aggies in the SEC... may we meet again in a BCS championship game.

A&M was always one of my favorite Big 12 teams.. The one memory I will never forget is when we beat you guys 28-27, still one of my favorite memories ever.

I think the feeling is pretty much mutual up here. I think in general Nebraska Fan has a lot of respect for the Aggies.

It was fun being in a conference with you guys, if only for a little while. Have fun knocking heads in the SEC. :thumbs

TAM is the one program I'll really miss. They're our kind of people and I sure wish them the best in the SEC!

GBR!!

Gig em'!!

the Aggies have a great program. i always thought they were the southern version of us. great fans, great pride, and great tradition. i'll be rooting for you in the SEC, best of luck.

Aggie fans are some of the strangest people Ive ever met. Ive been to several games at Kyle Field and I shake my head every time I go. Do their fans know so little about football that they have to have a "yell leader" tell them when to cheer? Im convinced that without those "male cheerleaders" the stadium would be silent the entire game. The whole bit about how they're gonna "beat the hell outta ______" is pretty funny. They really just have some goofy traditions that boggle my mind. The above quote really makes me wonder. All the Aggie fans Ive ever met think they are soooo much better than everyone else, God's gift to College Football basically.

WHOOP!

That being said. They are generally passionate about their football team and nice people. You won't get beat up going to an A&M game. Im glad to see them finally break away from Texas but I think in about 5 years they are going to regret the move. Texas A&M will become the bottom feeder of the SEC.
