Leadership, Accountability, & Toughness

For what it's worth, to me this looked like a team loss.

The offense, defense, special teams and coaching were lame most of the game.

Poor/sloppy play, bad coaching decisions, missed FGs, etc.

It happens. Remember Missouri in 2008?

I'm more interested in the character of the team and staff in

implementing corrections and moving on.

I think we'll be OK.
amen. I guess I just wansn't ready for such an embarassing loss. This team is not as bad as the score indicated, it was the tv exposure and the NU's high ranking that made this game look bad to the rest of the country.

Bo fix the seconday, Beck fix your playing calling and figure what Taylor needs to do be success, and then only do those things. In August, having a poor seconday was the least of my concerns. You think you plug a hole another pops open somewhere

People need to realize that the other team is trying too. I know some don't want to admit it but the other team is not only trying really hard but also has good players and sometimes they even have BETTER players.

Good lord, the Vegas line was -10! I know, I know, the Vegas line doesnt mean that they think that team is going to win by 10 blah blah blah. Look, there is a reason that the favorite wins most of the time, they might not cover, but they usually win.

Wisconsin was the better team, period. Now, if they did not have Wilson this year, then this game is totally different but lets face it, he is playing lights out right now.

This is about one team being lots better on one night. It happens. Then you had Beck who admitted that he panicked a bit and called some poor plays that he wished he could have back. He will learn from that. The team will improve.

I think if the coordinators kept with their gameplan they used in the beginning stages of the game, it would have been alot closer in score and Nebraska would have had a real chance to win.
I completely agree. They need to realize that Taylor's strength is not his passing, but his ability to run. I agree with you, if they would have kept to what they were doing in the first quarter it would have been a much closer game. We might still have lost, but at least it wouldn't have turned into a blowout.

EZE?

Woah, now I'm confused.
Sorry zoogies. Don't worry I didn't realize when I joined that there was already an "EZ-E." I have already put in a request to one of the Admins for a name change to be fair to "EZ-E" beings he had the name first.

Haha, no worries at all! I think it's kinda funny, actually, and you're free to keep the name, of course. There's AR Husker Fan and AF Husker Fan...huskerrob and husker_rob, I think...and a lot of other similar names.

The best part about your username, I always used to have trouble figuring out where the hyphen went in EZ-E's. I don't have to remember for this one.

Welcome to the board!

I say I have no idea what happened to the defense, but that's Bo's forte so if there's a side of the ball that should be easiest to fix, it's there.
That's my concern. We've played 5 games and have yet to show any improvement on D. Same mistakes are being made and the coaches can't seem to fix it.

Thanks zoogies! Glad to be here. I should have joined a long...long time ago. I am just glad to be a part of the conversation with other Husker fans.
