Trying to change my username

Cannot seem to find the option. The help section says it is possible to do so, but I'm unable to find out where exactly you do this.

Advice, please.

 
What would you like it changed to? Post it here and an admin can take care of it for you. Only admins can change usernames, I'm afraid.

 
And to just add to what zoogies said, try running your desired name against the Members list to be sure it already isn't in use. That way, you won't get frustrated at us if we have to come back three or four times saying, "Gee, sorry - that one's taken. Got another?" ;)

 
Please change it to CheeseHusker.

That is my Huskerpedia handle, and the Maxes have regained control of that site, so I do not wish to post there any longer. I don't believe it is being used,

Mods, I am in the same boat as Cheese Husker. Former HP guy coming over. I signed up under "lo country", but never got the validation email. I am now registered under "low country", but would like to change it to my real username of "lo country".

Done. Actually, what I had to do is delete the "lo country" account, then rename the "low country" account to "lo country".

 
Didn't want to start my own thread, but would like to have my username changed as well. Instead of SkerJosh I'd like to be called JoshSker if that's possible.

 
I would also like to change my username, I feel like it would save me from some unnecessary tension that occurs from people seeing my current name and just making assumptions. I'd like it to be something humorous....maybe accept nominations and then have people vote on it? Would that somehow be against forum rules?

 
Not in the least. What I'd recommend is posting a thread in the BS forum asking for submissions by a date certain. Then, when the date is reached, start a new thread - "Vote for Badgerfan's New Name" or something like that - and make a poll out of it. Given folks a couple of weeks to vote. Then...reject 'em all and pick something you'll really like to be called. :D
