Another UW QB Transfer

Just a rumor at this point. Not much base of note other than ND boards.

I would avoid this like the plague if I were Bielema. The last thing you want is a reputation of a school that continually brings in hired guns at QB. That doesn't bode well for recruiting in the future.

No kidding. That would turn kids away really quick. Why go there work hard for 3 years to have your shot taken by a one and done transfer? Anyways Wilson>>>Crist.

 
Last time we had a Dayne it worked out pretty well but I don't think it'll be nearly as nice this time around. I've read he might do the same thing as Russell but I'm not too hyped. The kid's broken and wasn't that impressive at ND.

I could care less about the reputation if it worked.

 
If Bulemia could coach him up to not drop the snap it would be great for Dayne. However he is certainly not a running qb and attempts to make him one may have ruined his career.

 
Why would a University like Wisconsin go after the likes of Dayne Crist? He's a bench rider. If his name were Dayne Christ, then I'd agree with the pursuit.

And no offense to people named Dayne that I haven't met, but I've never met a Dayne that I liked. Just sayin.

 
Just saw on the Lemming Report that Crist is going to visit Kansas. Weis recruited him to ND and may have a chance to land him to play in Kansas.

09 ruptured tendon in knee during WSU garbage time, out for season.

10 tore ACL

11 Fumbleitis.

I really hope he has a chance to do well at KU.

 
Apparently Wisconsin is the place to transfer. Bielema said that as much as 10 different players contacted him about transferring, 3 of which were QBs.

No I'm pretty sure the NCAA holds fast to the '4 years and 5 to use them.' His 2010 injury came in week 8 I think.

You can apply for a sixth year but they don't hand them out very often. Case Keenum is in his sixth year at this point. The main emphasis seems to be on academics. Anyone know what his GPA is?
