@ AP_Top25 LSU's Les Miles is AP coach of the year, got 30 of 56 votes. Snyder (16), Gundy (6), Hoke (3), Kiffin (1)

How Granny Snyder doesn't win this is beyond me.

2010 LSU record: 11-2 vs the #15 SOS

2011 LSU record: 13-0 vs. the #16 SOS

2010 KSU record: 7-6 vs. the #61 SOS

2011 KSU record: 10-2 vs. the #10 SOS

I'm just saying that if you improve your W/L by three games while going up 51 spots in your SOS, I think that merits a little more consideration than Miles' coaching gig.

Give Snyder LSU and all the perks and recruiting and he'd be unstoppable.

Topeka radio jesters were whining about this earlier but I have to agree with them. People knew Miles was going to do well. Snyder's K-State came out of nowhere.

No doubt. Sure, Les Miles achievement was amazing. Like climbing Mount Everest. But the job Bill Snyder did this year was more like pulling a rickshaw full of cinderblocks up Mount Everest.

And some LSU fans will be calling for his head after a couple nail-biting wins and a loss next year...

Congrats to Les but it should have gone to someone else, probably Snyder like others have mentioned. Miles is a beneficiary of outstanding local talent and lax SEC recruiting standards.
