2011/2012 Women's Basketball Team

I don't understand the ranking difference between the AP and Coaches Polls. Nebraska is #19 in the AP and is unranked in the Coaches Poll. Penn State is #19 in the Coaches Poll and unranked in the AP Poll. Nebraska beat Penn State on their home court. The Coaches Poll that shows Penn State as #19 was voted after Penn State's loss to Nebraska. Penn State has 3 losses, Nebraska 1.

 
So refreshing to watch this team over the mens. Almost an identical game against Iowa today. Heck the Ladies were down 8 a good chunk of the 2nd half. But did they wet their pants, crap themselves, lose all sense of the game. No. Did Coach Yori call repeated timeouts? No she let them play through in crunch time, letting her playmakers(Moore and Hooper) take over the game.

It is a breath of fresh air, vs the circus that Doc provides in the closing moments of a half and game.

Better hop on that wagon now Husker fans, because it could very easily be a repeat of two years ago and tickets for home games will start to become hard to come by.

Oh yeah, for the record they won 75-70 over a pretty good Iowa team. 22 points 7 dimes for Moore

Agree. The comparisons between the coaching styles become pretty stark with adjacent games and an immediate opportunity to contrast.

 
Maybe Doc should Yori for some help with his scheme's.

I just happened to catch the last minute of game-time on the radio yesterday. Heck of a good game by the Fightin' Yoris.

 
I went to the Indiana game and there was a pretty nice crowd there...should be really big Sunday. Nice to see the fans coming out like they did in 09'.

 
Penn State beats Nebraska 93-73. I guess Penn State was mad that we beat them on their home court and decided to return the favor.

 
I think this team can win the big 10. Let's just hope they can win in the tournament. I'm glad to see that Connie has been having success finally in the past 4 or 5 years after what she has been through.

 
Shame on us. SHAME ON US!!!!!!!! We get on Husker Board and this 'Other Husker Sports' area we b!^@h and piss and moan about SADler and his pathetic BB team. WAKE UP!! The ladies are 16-3 and ranked 20tieth. Go Girlz. Go women. Go Ladies, you give us a chance to hold our heads high.
