Huskers' historic comeback (Oct. 8)

Nebraska's first Big Ten home game was one to remember. The Huskers trailed Ohio State by 21 points in the second half before rallying for the biggest comeback victory in program history.Taylor Martinez, Rex Burkhead and Lavonte David all had huge nights as the team scored 28 straight points for a 34-27 victory. And by beating the league's reigning blue-chip program, Nebraska proved it belonged in the Big Ten.

 
That game vs tOSU was a great one. After the first half I was definitely wondering how bad it might get, but that second half had me smilin from ear to ear. Good one to have watched with family and friends. Thank you Skers!

 
As for the list, I agree with all. Except the two scandals. I wish they would have put two more on-the-field events on the list. And just mentioned the PSU/tOSU scandals in the footnotes or something. They certainly were not top 10 moments.

 
^^ +1 for the PSU pregame prayer. The eyes of the nation were on us that day. And I was very proud of our team.

I would rather see the list include the pregame prayer. And not the spot for Joe Pa's downfall. I don't feel too much sympathy for him. I just don't think that--Joe Pa's downfall--is a top-10 moment.

Being at that game will be something I will always remember. It looked as though it was going to start pouring all night long, but it just spit at us every once in a while. I loved the atmosphere that night (especially in the 2nd half). I can't remember a game where everything just got flipped on its ear within one play.

With that being said, I'm a realist. I don't want to diminish what the players and coaches accomplished that night, but I think we all can agree that if Braxton Miller had stayed in the game, it wasn't looking good for us at all. Now obviously that didn't happen, so there's nothing to worry about, but I think it's just something that should be reiterated because of all the attention that the comeback is receiving.

You're right, as the first ever Big Ten CCG it should have been the undisputed #1....and because it isn't this list is complete crap.

they should have been left off, but since the psu scandal was not it should have been number one. any footballing moment pales in comparison to a scandal and tragedy of that scale.

 
Penn state "best B1G moment" a a a.... No not so much. Most memorable or unforgettable... Ok. Best implies that it was great because of circumstances that were at the very least horrific and that because of said circumstances it produced the "best moment." Penn state us a moment that because of tragedy it exists! I would rather that moment never have happened meaning the tragedy never happened. So mark me in the most memorable but by no means the best. As for what was the best moment husker related. I gotta go with Mich. St and ohio st. prayers answered against Wisconsin!! And non husker related best moment (See Above!)

not to embarrass you in front of everyone, but it was 'top big 10 moments', not 'best big 10 moments'.

2. Wisconsin winning the Big Ten...again / finally beating Michigan State

3. Montee Ball tying Sanders' TD record

4. Montee Ball declaring his intentions to stay at UW

5. RW comitting to UW

6. Duckworth's Catch

7. Nick wearing Al's Jersey

8. Konz and later Taucher's letters to the people of Wisconsin... very classy

9. Minnesota losing to North Dakota State
